Behind the Mask: Kickoff to Lent

We invite you to share in the tradition of Shrove Tuesday, with a supper of pancakes and sausages, and Mardi Gras, with its bright colours, masks and beads. Join in a conversation about Lent – What is it? Is it problematic? Is it beneficial, and how might we engage in the practice of Lent?

You are invited to wear a mask, beads, and a piece of clothing or costume in the Mardi Gras colours of purple, gold and green. Masks and beads will be provided.

Following supper, Mardi Gras celebrations continue with the Organized Crime Duo Organ Concert in the Sanctuary. Tickets can be purchased at the supper.
