Kitchen Cleanup

Our monthly potlucks are a wonderful time to connect and share as a community—and we need your help to keep them running smoothly!

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with clean-up duties after our potluck gatherings. Tasks include clearing tables, washing dishes, and tidying up the space. Many hands make light work, and your help ensures these events remain a joyful and stress-free experience for everyone.

Sanctuary Hosts

We want to rebuild our presence as a church in downtown Calgary by opening the sanctuary and labyrinth for those seeking a quiet space during the week. We’re looking for volunteer hosts who can open the 6th Avenue doors and stay to greet visitors for a couple of hours (schedule TBD). We’re initially targeting Tuesday at lunchtime but would appreciate volunteer hosts any weekday between 10 am and 2 pm. This is an important and rewarding way to engage in the life and work of our church. Potluck Hosts

Our monthly potlucks are a cherished time for connection and community, and we’re seeking hosts to help make these gatherings even more special!

As a host, you’ll assist with setting up the space, organizing dishes as they arrive, and ensuring everything runs smoothly during the meal. It’s a great way to contribute while getting to know others in our community.

Opportunity Knox

The primary role of Opportunity Knox (OK) is to ensure there is an open and transparent process for filling vacant volunteer leadership positions. We strive to provide applicants with knowledge of the position and to match skills and interests with available opportunities. Knox is looking for leaders to advance and evolve the mission of the church.

Currently the leadership positions available are:

  • Co-Chair of Knox Council

  • Secretary of Council

  • Member at Large on Council

  • Chair and Members of the Ministry and Personnel Committee

  • Trustee
